CSR Drum and Lyre Ensemble Shines at the 66th San Carlos City Charter Day Band Exhibition

Colegio de Santa Rita de San Carlos, Inc. (CSR) Drum and Lyre Ensemble proudly showcased its talent, discipline, and teamwork during the 66th San Carlos City Charter Day Band Exhibition held on July 1, 2026. After months of dedicated rehearsals and unwavering commitment, the ensemble delivered an outstanding performance that earned First Runner-up in the Drum and Lyre Competition and the Best in Costume Award.

Leading the ensemble with grace and confidence was Mother Majorette Ma. Alexa Lyn Galvez, whose inspiring leadership and commanding presence guided the band throughout the competition. Supporting the team's success were band moderators Mr. Raymond Dexter Verzon and Mr. Jason Ash Dumaboc, together with dedicated trainers Raymond Mar Pescadera, Joseph Isugon, Joshua Tagnong, Clarence Carl Gicos, and Ian Santillan, whose expertise helped develop the members' musical skills, discipline, confidence, and teamwork.

This remarkable achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of the Augustinian Recollect Sisters, parents, faculty, students, alumni, and the entire CSR community. Their encouragement and belief in the team inspired every member to perform with excellence, demonstrating that success is built on unity, perseverance, and the collective efforts of many.

More than the awards received, the CSR Drum and Lyre Ensemble's accomplishment reflects the Ritarian values of excellence, dedication, and service.
